Iron Chest Master Review 2022

The Iron Chest Master is a push-up machine that’s designed to build and strengthen muscle using fluid movement and adjustable resistance. It is the brainchild of seven-time Mr. Natural Universe Ron Williams, who says the machine is capable of continuously challenging the muscles it engages.

The Iron Chest Master is a piece of equipment that’s about 46 inches long and 6 inches wide, with two handles that slide along a rail. The purpose of this design is to initiate fluid movement during push-ups. Creating dynamic movement is said to be more effective at engaging several muscle groups simultaneously, which is why this push-up machine is useful for strengthening and sculpting the chest.

Built into it is an adjustable resistance system that can adapt to the workout requirements of novices as well as advanced fitness enthusiasts. It activates during the negative rep (when you push down), engaging more muscles in the chest, shoulders, and upper arms than a regular push-up would.

Because of the fluid motion it inspires, the Iron Chest Master prevents strain on the elbow, wrist, and shoulder joints. Typically, these joints have to twist when we perform push-ups on a flat surface, but with this workout equipment, all the force is redirected onto the muscles. Thus, proponents of the machine call it safer and healthier to use than other workout methods.

It scores highly on a lot of aspects but falls short when it comes to portability. The stiff frame is not foldable, and the device is not designed to be routinely dismantled after use. Still, using the Iron Chest Master has a lot of benefits, particularly when it comes to targeting chest muscles.

Targeted Muscle Groups

As its name suggests, the Iron Chest Master mostly works on chest muscles. It engages the pectorals, shoulder muscles, triceps, and the core (core refers to all abdominal muscles). One of the reasons why it is considered a unique workout tool for the chest is that it activates the muscles at the center of your chest during peak contraction.

When you use the tool, you start at your normal push-up stance with your hands gripping the handles. Then, as you lower your body, you slide the handles along the rail, pushing against the resistance until your body finally enters the Power Position (elbows at a 90-degree angle to the chest). The resistance bands push your chest muscles as you reset your stance, keeping them fully engaged all through. This motion engages the muscles in the middle of your chest, which are usually some of the hardest to train.

Its ability to train and condition chest muscles to the max stems from the full range of motion it creates. The Iron Chest Master, therefore, allows you to perform six exercises simultaneously:

1. The bench press

It puts your body in the power position and requires the same muscle strength that a bench press does.

2. The dumbbell press

It isolates each side of the body, placing equal weight and resistance on both sides of the chest like the dumbbell press.

3. The push-up

It concaves the chest, engaging the pectorals through deltoid tie-ins, which the push-up capitalizes on.

4. The Pec Deck

It moves the arms and chest muscles in an arc-like the pec deck, but without the strain on the elbows.

5. The Dumbbell fly

It offers the movement of the dumbbell fly with the added advantage of more stability.

6. Cable-Crossovers

It inspires peak contraction of the chest muscles that is similar to the effect of cable-crossovers, but it doesn’t strain the biceps.

Who is it for?

The Iron Chest Master is a unique piece of training equipment. On the one hand, it enables you to do one of the simplest yet most effective workout ever, the push-up, using perfect form. On the other, it accomplishes the task of about six different exercises using a simple, fluid, but highly engaging motion.

Because of its basic design, the Iron Chest Master can be used by anyone, even if you have no prior experience with gym equipment. It is easy to adjust to your preferred resistance level, and it continues to challenge you even as you grow stronger.

If you desire to keep your body fit but rarely have time for the gym, the Iron Chest Master is for you. It teaches you to retain a perfect workout form and engages all the muscles in the chest and upper body using a combination of movement and resistance.

Does it eliminate the need for the gym? Not necessarily. What it does is offer gym-level training within the comfort of your home, which is precisely why this tool will suit the average 9-5 working-class individuals perfectly.

Who is it NOT For?

The Iron Chest Master is not a tool for physical therapy; it is primarily a strength-building workout equipment. Therefore, geriatrics, injured athletes, and anyone unable to perform a push-up for health reasons should stay away from it.

Its main job is to build chest muscles, with the added benefit of strengthening your shoulders and triceps. If you’re thinking of a general body fitness tool, an elliptical machine is a much better fit. The Iron Chest Master is a muscle-building workout equipment that puts a lot of pressure on the pecs, triceps, and shoulder muscles. Although, in a way, it offers a decent aerobic workout, don’t substitute it for cardio. For that, you need something like a treadmill.

Closing Thoughts

For the average fitness enthusiast, the Iron Chest Master would be an excellent addition to their workout equipment. It doesn’t eliminate the need for free weight training for the chest, and neither is it enough to warrant a gym membership cancellation. That said, few tools will help you build a leaner, bigger, and stronger chest faster than the Iron Chest Master.

The rail system is a big reason why it is so effective. Moving like a bird in flight during push-ups engages muscles that you wouldn’t usually use while doing regular push-ups. Plus, the design of the equipment makes sure that no strain is placed on your wrists, elbows, and shoulders.

The Iron Chest Master is not without its limitations, but for now, its biggest weakness is its lack of portability. As far as its muscle and strength-building potential is concerned, however, it exceeds expectations.

It is a tool that is designed to suit the workout needs of healthy individuals across the board regardless of the level of prowess, physical strength, and size.
